My Public Sector client requires a Reports Writer with experience of administering and writing reports on a payroll system. (Business Objects report writer or similar).
Your job will be to:
Support the maintenance of the Financial Management System ensuring their integrity at all times.
Support with control and to ensure the systems meet the business needs in an accurate and timely manner.
Support the work programme set by the Systems Manager.
Main point of contact for Helpdesk queries in the delivery of systems support and advice
You must have the following experience:
Experience of assisting an integrated HR / Payroll system System
Public Sector Experience
Must have the ability to analyse, interpret and communicate complex financial information
Must be financially literate, with good IT skills (especially Excel and Word)
Ability to reconfigure screens within systems
Manage and deliver, within agreed guidelines, an effective payroll system support service to the Council.
In addition to work with the systems support team in Human Resources to further develop the Council’s HR & Payroll system.
If candidates have Delphi and or i-Trent systems experience this would be an advantage, along with proven experience in analysing data requirements, and in writing and running reports from payroll systems.

My client is seeking a 1st Line Help Desk Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst supporting users with support issues on MS Office, Windows, Active Directory, general Windows trouble shooting and file access permissions.
Suitable applicants will have gained some experience of providing 1st Line Support on a busy service desk, supporting users with Active Directory, General Windows Trouble Shooting, File Permissions. My Retail client requires a SQL Database Administrator to look after the organisations datawarehouse and associated servers.
You will be an experienced DBA with strong skills in SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and also with SQL 2005 databases. You will be the sole DBA, and will work alongside SSRS and SSAS Developers in an MIS team. Your role will be to maintain the company’s SQL Server 2005 data warehouse and OLAP solutions. You will ensure the smooth running of the daily ETL process, monitor performance and implement backup and recovery strategies. You will also work with our MIS analysts to deliver reporting and other data requirements across all locations in the business. Collaboration with our third party consultants on future development projects will be important. You will also be required to provide DBA support for a number of other SQL Server 2000/2005 installations in the business, and there is the potential for out of hours support in the future.
